On Wednesday, November 22, 2006 R.P. T. Henry Waldrep, Grand Governor of South Carolina and Johnnie Morris, DGG, by order of Most Preeminently Distinguished Brother Gene H. Schaber, Governor General, called a General Assembly of the Sovereign College in Anderson, S.C. for the purpose of conferring the Order of the Purple Cross on the Distinguished Brother Donnie Richey for his distinguished service to Masonry. Due to health reasons Most Puissant Schaber granted special permission to confer the rank upon Brother Richey. The above photo is of the 10 Distinguished Brethren who attended the conferral.
